BSGES supplies private label and white label organic matcha to European retail brands: EU Organic and USDA certified powder, packed in your branding, from 1,000 tins or boxes. We handle grade selection, packaging format, and the full compliance documentation your buyers and regulators expect.

What "private label" means with BSGES

You choose the grade, the format, and your branding; we handle sourcing, packing, compliance documentation, and CIF delivery. The matcha itself comes from the same certified organic supply as our bulk lines, so a private label SKU carries the same organic certification and batch testing as everything else we ship.

This suits brands that already sell tea, coffee, wellness, or snacking products and want to add matcha without managing an overseas supplier relationship directly, sample logistics, or import compliance themselves.

Packaging development: what to plan for

Matcha's sensitivity to light, heat, and moisture should shape your packaging brief from the start, not get retrofitted afterwards. In practice this means: an opaque or UV-blocking tin or pouch rather than clear glass or plastic; a properly sealing lid or resealable closure, since matcha loses colour and flavour quickly once exposed to air; and, if you're printing directly onto packaging, confirming your printer uses food-safe, low-migration inks given matcha's tendency to absorb mineral oil compounds. Bring your packaging supplier and us into the same conversation early, ideally before tooling or print runs are committed, so specification issues surface before they're expensive to fix.

Timeline for a first private label order

Private label follows the same underlying process as bulk supply: consultation, sample validation, agreement, then production. The main variable is your own packaging lead time, since custom tins, pouches, or boxes typically take longer to produce than the matcha fill itself. Confirm your packaging supplier's lead time early and work backwards from your intended launch date, and plan for the standard 30–45 day matcha timeline to run in parallel wherever possible rather than sequentially.

Documentation for retail compliance

Every private label batch ships with the same documentation as our bulk lines: EU Organic and USDA NOP certificate copies, batch CoA, and third-party pesticide and mineral-oil test reports. This is the paperwork your own retail compliance team, or your retailers' buying teams, will ask for. See our quality & compliance page for the full list.
